Update On AEW's Relationship With WarnerMedia & TNT

How has WarnerMedia's recent corporate shakeup altered things with AEW?

Mike Johnson of PWInsider posed AEW President Tony Khan a question during today's All Out media conference call, asking about how the relationship between the promotion and its network, WarnerMedia/TNT, had changed following the latter's recent boardroom shakeup.

Khan called it a "great relationship and the lifeblood of the company," stating that he had even been texting people from WarnerMedia during the call itself. While he is just starting to get to know the new team, he knows AEW Dynamite is a strong cable property, having become a regular fixture in the night's top 10 cable shows most weeks, and feels his company fits into the new team's vision for how to move forward.

Tony added that he is constantly "banging his head against the wall" thinking of ways to improve Dynamite, and believes they can produce "the best wrestling show in the world" if they all work together.

On Kevin Reilly, the recently-departed executive who helped bring AEW to TNT in the first place, Khan stressed his gratitude towards the man multiple times. He approached Reilly on a whim but doing so opened doors for AEW to make it to the network, and for that, he is endlessly thankful.
