Update On Chris Jericho's Post-WrestleMania Status
When is Jericho leaving? When will he be back?

Chris Jericho may be riding into his most high-profile WrestleMania match in years, but fans of the United States Champion will need to take a deep drink of "The Gift of Jericho" at the show of shows. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the wrestling legend will be taking time off from WWE after 'Mania, as he's scheduled to tour with his band, Fozzy, in May.
The good news, however, is that Jericho's absence many not last very long. Though plans are always subject to change, the current U.S. Champion is scheduled for June's Extreme Rules show, a Raw-exclusive PPV. Past then, though, his future is anybody's guess.
After a relatively quiet 2014 and 2015, Jericho returned to WWE full-time on the first Raw of 2016. Though initially his babyface act was described as tired and outdated, Jericho soon turned heel on partner AJ Styles and reinvented himself once again, becoming one of the MVPs of the WWE roster. He spend the rest of the year sporting scarves, sucking up to Kevin Owens, and calling fans "stupid idiots."
Last month on Raw, though, Owens turned on Jericho, leading Y2J to cost "The Prizefighter" his Universal Title bout with Goldberg at Fastlane. Now, the two former best friends are scheduled to battle for the U.S. Title at WrestleMania.
