Having reportedly signed with WWE during WrestleMania Week, previous rumblings suggested that Jacob Fatu will be making his company debut on this week's SmackDown. According to PWInsider, though, that is now not the case.

As of this writing, Fatu isn't expected to be at SmackDown on Friday, but he has signed with WWE and plans are already in place for him. Given the meticulous nature of the Bloodline story - of which the Samoan Werewolf is expected to be a part - there is said to be no immediate rush on this matter.

Of course, this week's SmackDown kicks off the 2024 Draft, meaning it's a show that one would expect to be pretty stacked and obviously centred around the big trades between SmackDown, Raw, and NXT. As such, one school of thought would suggest it's better to hold off on debuting Jacob Fatu until he could be the main focus and biggest talking point of an episode.

For those not familiar with Fatu, he's a former MLW World Champion and has impressed for the likes of GCW, NJPW, and House of Glory in recent years. As for his ties to the Bloodline, his father is the Tonga Kid, the twin brother of Rikishi. That makes Jacob the cousin of the Usos and Solo Sikoa, and also means he's related to the likes of Roman Reigns, Yokozuna, Umaga, Rosey, and the Wild Samoans.
