Stars of the past and the present paid tribute to The Undertaker on last night's episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

This week's edition of the blue show was largely dedicated to saluting 'The Phenom's legendary career, with WWE choosing to air his latest (and possibly last) match at WrestleMania 36 against A.J. Styles in all its Boneyard glory.

On top of this epic replay, we were also treated to a clip of 'The Deadman's WWE debut at Survivor Series 1990.

Throughout the tribute show, a number of 'Taker's old rivals all appeared in various video packages and reflected on his 30-year tenure in the company.

Legends such as 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Kane, Kurt Angle, Batista, Mick Foley, Edge, John Cena, Roman Reigns and Christian all sang the praises of one of the most important figures in wrestling history.

Jeff Hardy also defended 'The Demon of Death Valley's honour by beating 'King' Baron Corbin in main event of the show - after the loudmouth star ran down 'Taker earlier in the night.

If we truly have seen the last of 'Taker as an in-ring competitor then this night was a fitting tribute to the icon that is Mark Calaway.
