Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard are reportedly set to take over as NXT's lead producers.

This is according to Bryan Alvarez, who spoke on the matter during yesterday's episode of Wrestling Observer Live. Alvarez claimed that several sources had told him that the developmental brand will become a McMahon/Prichard production once the show goes back to a live schedule on 14 September.

Alvarez's colleague, Dave Meltzer, followed up on this, noting that Vince and Bruce will be focused on the big decisions rather than the little ones, with their purview potentially limited to booking matters at the top of the card.

Fightful Select have followed up on this, learning that talent haven't yet been informed of such a move - if it is indeed happening. Said wrestlers didn't see McMahon and Prichard at NXT's latest set of television tapings, which went down last week, though they have been informed that Bruce will be at the Performance Center this weekend.

Somebody who has been at the PC a lot more often recently is long-serving producer Jamie Noble, who has been in his role since 2009.

NXT's founder, Triple H, currently operates as the brand's executive producer. There is no word on how his role may be impacted should McMahon and Prichard take control.
