Vince McMahon Told This WWE Female Star She "Had Balls"

A Vince McMahon-approved WWE pitch led to one of the most unlikely compliments.

Vince McMahon was once left seriously impressed by the "balls" Mickie James had.

No, Mickie didn't literally have testicles. Instead, she showed a lot of confidence by strolling into Vince's private office in 2005 and pitching an angle with Lita. James was in the old OVW developmental system at the time, but McMahon had already heard her idea from a few members of his creative team.

Mickie told AdFreeShows that Michael Hayes was the one who put her up to telling Vince face-to-face - the ex-Freebird said that McMahon would appreciate Mickie's fearlessness if she walked in, asked to speak with him and then said that nobody could play the character like she could.

So, that's what she did.

James admitted that she wasn't quite as confident as Vince thought however. In fact, she was really nervous that he wouldn't like her plan after all. That wasn't going to happen, but McMahon did change who Mickie would be feuding with; although she'd pitched a storyline with Lita, WWE thought it'd be a better fit for Trish Stratus instead.

James was happy to go along with that, and thankful that Hayes had given her some great advice.
