Wrestling's latest viral sensation made a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance on last night's AEW Dynamite, as the promotion briefly tapped into the social media zeitgeist to build a match between Danhausen and Ethan Page.

Interview Alex Marvez introduced the pizza king, Luigi Primo, backstage. Primo was spinning a pizza base, though he could barely get a word out before Page came into the scene, booting him away. Ethan tried to change the tone, saying it was time to get serious, though these attempts were thwarted when Danhausen walked up to establish their match - which takes place on Friday's episode of Rampage.

Primo did not appear elsewhere on Dynamite, nor did he wrestle on last night's tapings, which encapsulated the live Wednesday night flagship, Friday's Rampage, and Monday's Dark: Elevation.

Luigi, who wrestles while spinning his pizza base, first caught the internet's attention a couple of weeks ago. The Texas-based indie wrestler saw one of his matches go viral - and for good reason. Look at how insane this is:-

Whether or not AEW will use Primo again is unclear, though a dough-spinning comedy match would likely go down well at some stage.
