WCW's Dungeon Of Doom: Where Are They Now?
1. The Giant
As arguably the most successful member of The Dungeon of Doom, The Giant made his WCW debut as part of Sullivan’s faction. Making waves by bursting through the Dungeon’s walls to attack Hulk Hogan, The Giant would go on to beat Hogan for the WCW Heavyweight Title, after a stipulation was later revealed that meant the title could change hands on a DQ finish.
Despite this, The Giant’s time with the Dungeon was short lived, and he would leave the group after a month in favour of joining the nWo. Never one to stick in one place for long, the soon-to-be Big Show was kicked out of the nWo for having the gall to ask Hogan for a title match.
As a three time WCW Tag champ, a two time WCW Heavyweight champ, and a two time WWE champ, The Giant is the most decorated member of The Dungeon of Doom. Going on to achieve huge success in WWE (including reigns with the Intercontinental title, the US title, the ECW World title and the WWF Hardcore title), Paul Wight has become one of Vince McMahon’s most trusted and loyal performers, a surprising notion, given that he got his start in a WCW-branded cave surrounded by weirdos.
