Sabu appeared in a brief video package to hype up his arrival. Over generic grunge music, which almost sounds like Pearl Jam but legally doesn't, Sabu's high flying and death-defying stunts are showcased. In his debut match on the following episode, Sabu lost to Alex Wright via DQ.

After:

Sabu's time with WCW was brief, and after a minor detour to Japan, he returned to ECW, becoming a hardcore icon in the process. In the '00s Sabu's time with WWE and TNA further cemented his reputation as "The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying Maniac."

In 2021, Sabu told Wrestling Shoot Interviews:

“I’m not doing real good. I hurt my back about a year ago and it’s still been hurting. I wrestled a couple of weeks ago but I shouldn’t have […] ‘I’m probably not gonna wrestle no more… I’m probably just gonna do autograph signings and personal appearance-type stuff.”

Last Match:

Sabu defeated Mr. California – XWW Baptized In Blood, 31st July 2021
