Flair was at a point in his career were he was an icon that made it all seem effortless. He gave a vintage Flair performance, underhanded ways and all.

Ric Flair's in-ring work is second to none; a winning combination of technical finesse, committed heel performance, and a natural charisma. His achievement and accolades are vast and impressive. However, his reputation as a person was often called into question by his colleagues. This was mostly left simmering away from fanbase, until the season 3 episode of Dark Side of the Ring "The Plane Ride From Hell." An incident once dismissed as horseplay now revealed the true extent of Flair's actions. Though Flair refutes the claims of sexual assault, his reputation has plummeted.
