Also known as Robert Fuller, Col. Robert Parker started life as a hard-brawling wrestler throughout the southern territories, but shot to prominence as a heel manager in WCW. He managed Slater and Buck in their match with the American Males on the the first Nitro, and stayed with WWE until 1998.

From there, Parker re-emerged as WWE’s Tennessee Lee, but his spell managing Jeff Jarrett wasn’t to last. He was released from his WWE contract just three months after signing, and decided to head back to the independent circuit as a wrestler. He still pops up on the odd independent show even today, though his last big TV appearance came through an interview with Bobby Roode on a 2006 episode of TNA Impact.

Parker’s name is often overlooked when considering wrestling’s greatest managers, but he was always an entertaining presence on WCW. He sat on WCW’s booking committee up until the day he left, and, WCW being WCW, he was still being paid by the company as late as 2000. Aged 65, Parker currently resides in Seminole, Florida, where he enjoys a quiet retirement.
