7. Yoshi Tatsu

Yoshi Tatsu didn’t make much of a name for himself in WWE but he wasn’t given much of a chance either. He debuted in the company before Nakamura, Akira Tozawa, and Hideo Itami, meaning at that point, Vince McMahon didn’t have much of a history of pushing Japanese wrestlers as serious competitors.

Ultimo Dragon’s push was taken away almost immediately. Kenzo Suzuki was turned into a hornball. Even Tajiri spent much of his run being a strange, horny guy as well. Tatsu originally debuted in ECW and didn’t find as much success as some of the other new wrestlers on the brand like Sheamus and CM Punk. And so...Tatsu became a giant hornball for Maryse. It’s almost a wonder it took the company so long.

Currently, he’s actually doing well for himself in NJPW. He recently joined the Taguchi Japan stable, which features Tanahashi, Kushida, Michael Elgin, and Ricochet. Like the other names mentioned so far, a WWE return for Tatsu just isn’t going to happen. He’s probably making good money and isn’t treated like a total clown. Good for him!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
