What If Brock Lesnar Joined AEW

4. Violence Creates Opportunity

AEW loves itself a championship contender tournament, so for this fantasy booking let's go ahead and say that the promotion is booking one to find a challenger for new AEW World Champion MJF, who recently dethroned Hangman Page at the top of the mountain.

Truth be told, Brock Lesnar wouldn't even be in the original brackets for the tournament, but Lance Archer's violent behaviour might open a box that he cannot close. The opening round of the tournament would see Archer booked to take on Jungle Boy, only for the Murderhawk Monster to put his opponent out of action in the weeks before the match. Being a confident soul eager to show that he is the biggest dog in the yard, Archer would hold AEW management to ransom, demanding Brock Lesnar be put into Jungle Boy's spot.

Archer's wish would be granted, and The Beast vs. The Monster would be on the cards for the first round of the tournament. AEW Brock would be an altogether more flexible worker than the occasionally stubborn one we have seen in WWE - hey, this is fantasy - leading to a great match between these two behemoths. A match Brock would win, of course. Poor Lance, should have stuck with Jungle Boy.

A chance at redemption awaits in the semi-finals...

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
