What did the Olympian wish he'd been able to achieve?

Kurt Angle revealed the biggest regret of his WWE career during one of his regular Facebook Q&A sessions with fans.

The legend, who retired last year following a pretty lame match with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35, says that he wishes he'd been booked to win a Royal Rumble match during his first 1999-2006 run. During that time (Angle started in late-'99), The Rock, Steve Austin, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit, Batista and Rey Mysterio were all winners.

Angle didn't say whether or not he was ever promised a Rumble win, but did note that injuries buggered up any chances of being considered several times. Those health problems may have altered WWE's tentative plans to write the Olympian as the Rumble victor.

It is rather strange that he never won it once; Kurt was a top star who achieved almost everything else. He became Intercontinental, European and WWF Champion during his first year with the company, and he also won the King Of The Ring tournament in 2000 too. The Rumble is one that got away for Angle.

He regrets that when he looks back on his career now.
