What REALLY Happened To WWE's 16 Tallest Wrestlers Ever?

9. Jackson Andrews (6'11)

Known For: Not very much other than appearing as Tyson Kidd's would-be full-time bodyguard for a short spell in late-2010. WWE apparently changed their minds on big Jackson Andrews very quickly, but it was odd that they'd decided he wasn't ready after calling him up from developmental. Was nobody paying attention at FCW? Or, did they just see pure physical stature and think: 'That's the one!"?

What Happened To Him: Andrews didn't exactly become the next Diesel to Shawn Michaels. Mark Henry made him look decidedly ordinary by handling Jackson like he was nothing a few weeks after his debut alongside Kidd, then WWE sent him back to FCW for more seasoning. It was a death knell for his fledgling career, being perfectly honest.

Andrews was released in May 2011, then he promptly retired from the wrestling biz just like that. His final match to date was a loss to then-FCW Champ and fellow can't miss prospect Mason Ryan in January 2011. That bout was actually taped the prior December right after Jackson had showed up on Raw as an "intimidating physical force".

A legit 6'11, Andrews certainly had the God-given size to turn heads and work as a heater for Tyson's snot-nosed brat heel character, but WWE didn't show any patience with him whatsoever. Perhaps, given the fact he retired from wrestling almost immediately after leaving the company, they were right to question whether or not he had anything in him.

Regrettably, Andrews made headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2012. His then-fiancé Rosa Mendes filed charges alleging abuse and battery. He was reportedly engaged to another woman at the same time.
