What REALLY Happened To WWE's 16 Tallest Wrestlers Ever?
10. Matt Morgan (6'10)
Known For: Matt Morgan fared better in TNA than he ever did in WWE, which might come as a surprise when knowing Vince McMahon's fondness for big musclebound brutes who could shift in-ring. Think Brock Lesnar there. Unfortunately for Matt, he maybe came around at the wrong time - WWE had plenty of big hitters between 2002-2005, so he didn't really stand out from the crowd.
What Happened To Him: After leaving WWE in 2005, Morgan honed his craft in Japan and elsewhere before landing in TNA come 2007. That proved to be a place Matt could call home for the next 6 years or so. During his first TNA stint, Morgan became a 2-time tag champ alongside partners like Hernandez and Crimson, and it was clear he was twice the worker he'd been for the market leader.
WWE wouldn't come knocking again though, and Matt retired from the ring in 2014 before launching a return the following year. He's since started a career in politics, and has ghosted in and out of podcasting. At one point, Morgan appeared regularly as a reviewer on The Wrestling Inc. He's kinda drifted out of the public eye in more recent years.
Matt worked his final match in 2019, but did make one last appearance for TNA/Impact Wrestling back in 2022. It'd be a real shocker to see him ever pop up on WWE programming in 2025 and beyond, to be fair. Most likely don't remember much about his erm...stuttering run there.
The less said about that stammering gimmick, the better! If only he'd become The Undertaker and Kane's kayfabe brother, eh?
