What They Did Next: WWE 2021 Releases - Part 1
11. Bo Dallas
Bo Dallas should have been as easy to take to the top of a roster as Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes. The grandson of Blackjack Mulligan and son of Mike IRS Rotunda, Bo had a legacy of wrestling in his blood. That, alongside his ability to play annoying heel or hapless babyface alike, led to him being the youngest NXT champion in history.
And yet, as with many who do well on the black and gold brand, the main roster was not so kind to Bo. His highest moments came when he and partner Curtis Axel won the RAW Tag Team Championships alongside the few minutes he managed to hold onto the 24/7 Championship. Creative never once tried to elevate him through a program with his more popular brother, instead keeping him a filler character. That Bo disappeared from screens the moment his partner was fired in 2020 was far less shocking than the fact he himself wasn't released until another year after that.
A couple of months before that release, Bo opened a real estate business and has been studying in preparation for life after wrestling, so there's a good chance he won't return to the ring.
