Which WWE Star Is "Disappointed" With His Current Spot

He's also disheartened over his revamped WrestleMania 36 plans.

Elias King of the Ring

Elias popped up on 'Busted Open Radio' to speak about his disappointment and the way he's been handled in WWE recently.

SmackDown's music man openly discussed how disheartened he's been by management's refusal to hear that live crowds are behind him. He's also a bit miffed after a rumoured WrestleMania 36 match with John Cena was scrapped in favour of Cena vs. Bray Wyatt.

That would've been a solid spot for Elias, but he now looks certain to tangle with 'King' Corbin in some sort of preliminary bout (if that even makes it onto either night of WWE's new multi-card format) instead. No offence to Corbin, but going from Cena to him is an almighty drop for Eli.

Elias told the hosts he can't control anything that's going on behind the scenes in WWE - he can only control his own performances and do his best to entertain people watching. Then, he hopes, the promotion will recognise his value and "pull the trigger" on a big push.

The guitar-playing babyface didn't mince his words when putting across the "very, very big disappointment" surrounding his scuppered 'Mania plans.
