Carmella is officially back in the flesh on WWE TV after weeks of vignettes teasing her new character.

The 'Untouchable' one attacked Sasha Banks following a Women's Title match between the 'Legit Boss' and old rival Bayley on last night's episode of SmackDown. This ambush made it clear that Carmella will be Sasha's next challenger for the belt.

'Mella blasted Banks with a kick and then a facebuster on the ThunderDome stage. After that statement, she smiled and posed for her adoring public.

Banks is set to face Raw Women's Champ Asuka in a champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series on 22 November. There were question marks hanging over WWE's plans following that, but Carmella is a fine post-Bayley challenger; the company can always come back to Banks vs. Bayley (who have a little more juice left in the tank) during WrestleMania 37 season next year.

For now though, it's 'Untouchable' Carmella who will work with Sasha after Survivor Series.
