Why Cesaro Is Finally Getting A WWE Push

3. He's Getting To Show Personality

During Vince McMahon's appearance on Steve Austin's Stone Cold Podcast, McMahon knocked Cesaro's charisma, his mic work and outright said that the Swiss did not have the famed it factor.

That interview took place over six years ago - airing in December 2014 - and came at a time when fans were already willing for Cesaro to succeed. Here we are, all those years later, and it looks like Tony C may now finally get the chance to sink or swim as a top tier act.

While the naysayers may question Cesaro's personality, that's an argument that's easy to counter. Most importantly, Cesaro shows personality and a magnetic charisma with his in-ring work.

They say a picture paints a thousand words, and Cesaro is a wrestling artiste of the highest order; a wrestling Michelangelo.

Not every main eventer has to be overflowing with the personality of a Hulk Hogan, a Shawn Michaels, a Rock. When presented in the right way, ring work can connect with an audience just as much as any mic work can.

As for that mic work, Cesaro in his natural element is great. Allow the man to talk in his own way and you'll see the rewards - as evidenced by his recent Talking Smack promo - but force Cesaro to spew out tired, turgid WWE dialogue, and no wonder some have questioned his talking ability.

Remember when people said Bret Hart couldn't talk? Remember when people said Daniel Bryan couldn't talk? Just look at what happened when those two in-ring masters found their groove on the mic.
