Why WWE Are Making A Huge Mistake With Seth Rollins
Where does Seth Rollins' annus horribilis end at this point? With two months still left in 2019, the 'Beastslayer' would probably be only too content to be rid of what should have been the biggest periods of his career. It's certainly come to define who and what he is as a WWE main event star, but none of it has been particularly good.
The lack of conclusivity in his finishes of late only serve as deathblows because everything else was on life support. Fortunately for Rollins, there is a way to reanimate this corpse of a year into something more prosperous in the near future.
Unlike both Cena and Reigns, the company had long flailed with 'The Architect' before they let him have another turn at the top. He's been a heel, he's been a midcarder, a tag guy and just about everything else the organisation has asked for. It's perhaps why he's so loyal like some idiotically naive family pet, but it's about time the loyalty was returned.
If and when he loses his Championship (and the sooner the better, even if it's not to Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel) a totally dead character may be able to live again. Freed from the shackles of being 'The Guy' in WWE, the company hopefully won't do him so dirty. In turn, he might...might be able to clean up his act.
