Will Ospreay Wants To Be AEW's Top Guy After Revolution 2025 (AEW News)
Will Ospreay sets his sights on being The Guy in AEW after win over Kyle Fletcher.

Will Ospreay has claimed he wants to be "the guy" in AEW after defeating Kyle Fletcher at Revolution 2025.
In a post-match promo uploaded to AEW's social media channels, Ospreay showed regret at how his and Fletcher's relationship had dissolved. Ospreay said that after everything he had Kyle had inflicted on one another, what broke his heart the most was Fletcher looking him in the eye and saying "I hate you", having once considered the Australian his "little brother."
Moving on from the match, Ospreay addressed his future, saying: "I can't sit here any longer and look into my shadows and look into my past, I've got to move on. So, I'm gonna see you guys later. But I have a mission."

"I have always... I have always wanted to be the guy," the former AEW International Champion continued. "I've always wanted the responsibility, I've always wanted the ball and here I am, 31 years old, covered head to toe in my own blood, and I can safely say right now, 'I want that responsibility. I want the ball. I wanna be the guy.' This isn't where the best wrestle, this is where Billy wrestles."
Fletcher vs Ospreay was amongst the biggest matches on the Revolution 2025. A bloody, brutal cage match, it ended with Ospreay pinning Fletcher after around 28 minutes, landing a Hidden Blade and Tiger Driver '91 after hitting a Spanish Fly on Kyle from the top of the cage.
Although Ospreay was limping after landing on his hip from the Spanish Fly, early reports suggest he wasn't seriously injured.
Revolution 2025's main event saw Jon Moxley retain his AEW World Championship in what became a three-way main event, choking Christian Cage out after Cage had used his right-to-challenge contract to enter Mox's bout with Cope. Elsewhere, Swerve Strickland became Moxley's new number one contender by besting rival Ricochet.
