AEW's latest post-pay-per-view media scrum may have ended in disaster, ultimately leading to CM Punk and The Elite's indefinite suspensions (and potentially multiple exits from the promotion), but this doesn't seem to have dissuaded Tony Khan.

The AEW founder and CEO plans on hosting a press scrum after this weekend's Full Gear 2022 event despite All Out 2022's controversy. This is according to Wrestling Inc.'s Nick Hausman, who has received confirmation from the promotion itself.

CM Punk called Hausman out by name at the onset of the now-infamous All Out scrum on 4 September, doing so to facilitate verbal attacks on Colt Cabana, 'Hangman' Adam Page, and AEW's Executive Vice Presidents. This led to a brawl breaking out in Punk's locker room, with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks reportedly approaching the then-AEW World Champion afterwards.

Punk, Omega, and The Bucks were all suspended for their roles in the fracas. Producer Ace Steel, who is reported to have bitten Kenny and pulled his hair, has been released. Punk may soon follow his friend out the door, with him and AEW reportedly working on a contract buyout.

The Elite, meanwhile, are seemingly on the verge of returning, having featured in a handful of cryptic vignettes lately. A Full Gear bout with Trios World Champions Death Triangle has been rumoured for Kenny and the Bucks.
