Willow Nightingale Re-Signs With AEW, New Contract Confirmed (AEW News)
Popular AEW star re-signs with Tony Khan on multi-year deal during contract year.

Fightful Select are reporting that popular AEW star Willow Nightingale has re-signed with the company "on a multi-year contract". This comes after news from the site's Sean Ross Sapp that Willow was in her contract year, but All Elite boss Tony Khan was always interested in keeping Nightingale around.
In fact, Khan "considered her a priority".
So, Tony and the rest of his team will be pleased to get this one over the line after negotiations. Fightful's sources had indicated that Willow would be staying put on the AEW roster, and that has proven to be correct - it wasn't long after the initial story about Nightingale's contract year that she put pen to paper on a brand new one.
This will also be a relief to AEW fans who have enjoyed seeing Willow on episodes of Dynamite, Collision and old 'B'/'C' show Rampage since the bubbly star made her debut back in 2021. Since then, Nightingale has shown herself to be a valuable member of the women's division, and she even held the TBS Title for a month or so between April-May 2024.
There's every chance that more belts will be incoming for Willow now she's struck fresh terms with Khan.
Willow Is Happy In AEW

Fightful's report included word that Nightingale is happy in All Elite Wrestling. She "wanted to remain there" anyway, and must be chuffed that everything was handled so smoothly behind the scenes. That'll perhaps come as no surprise when reading that Willow was viewed as a "priority" by management.
Recently, Nightingale and her Conglomeration teammates have been warring with Jon Moxley and his Death Riders crew on AEW TV. That beef included a memorable segment on the 2 April episode of Dynamite. There, Moxley attacked Willow and hit her with his Paradigm Shift finish following a mixed tag-team match also involving Swerve Strickland and Marina Shafir.
News has spread quickly that Nightingale remains #AllElite. Fans on social apps expressed delight at this, and some even wondered aloud whether or not she'll move up into the AEW Women's Title hunt someday soon. If Willow was indeed a priority for Tony, then there's every chance she'll be considered for a major spot like that in the future; that's just guesswork though, and nothing of the sort was mentioned in Fightful's own report.
Congrats to Nightingale, and to AEW for holding onto such a popular worker with serious potential to do more.
