Women's Wrestlers With The Most World Titles (Across All Major Promotions)
13. Trish Stratus (7)
7 WWE Women’s Championships
Like Steve Austin, Trish Stratus only wrestled six full years in her original WWE run. Like Steve Austin, she did not need more to establish herself as the reference in her division. During that run, she's had feuds with every notable WWE female wrestler of the time: Jazz, Molly Holly, Victoria, Gail Kim, Mickie James and of course, real-life best friend Lita.
Her current gig as a full-time member of the roster proved what her cameo appearances from 2006 to 2021 had a lot of fans suspecting: that she never got close to losing it. Of course, her '06 retirement allowed her to pursue different endeavors with great success: she got married, raised two kids, opened Stratusphere (an eco-friendly yoga studio in Toronto) and appeared on a variety of reality TV shows.
But just imagine how high up the pantheon she would be if she did have a single uninterrupted run from her debut to this day. Think of the dream matches opposite Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool, Maryse, The Bella Twins, Kaytlin, AJ Lee, Naomi, Sasha Banks or even Ember Moon fans will probably never get to see. Just think of how many world titles she would have in her trophy cabinet. She gave us quality over quantity: imagine if we had gotten both.
