WrestleMania 29: 10 Reasons It's The Worst One Ever
7. Lack Of Backstage Segments
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ2VzOr3CnE Compounding my earlier point about how terrible the promo videos were this year, we didn't even get a single backstage segment! One of my favourite things about WWE PPVs (especially WrestleMania) is the effort they put into the backstage interviews and comedy skits, but this year there was nothing. Given how tiresome the actual match card was, this is an event that really needed something exciting going on in the background; instead, there wasn't even a promo from The Rock or a skit involving a celebrity and a wrestler. This supports my idea that not a whole lot of effort was really put into this year's event; sure, the set looks fantastic and they managed to fill all the seats, but Vince McMahon seemed to believe that the spectacle would create itself, when in fact this WrestleMania really seemed to lack the majesty of previous years (especially last year).
