The Rematch was your standard performance. Both men did very well, and the match itself felt better than the one they put together last year. The only problem with their brawl was the finish, having gone to the Finisher/Reversal/Finisher/Reversal" well" too many times, thus letting all the air out of an otherwise compelling match. Cena takes down The Rock, Cena does not turn heel, and both men hug it out to end the broadcast. But again WWE drops the ball on what could have been a career defining moment, this time for John Cena: Instead of having him attack The Rock post-match or drop The Rock's new belt at Rock's feet following the victory, it's business as usual to end the biggest event of the year. Puzzling, to say the least and it begs the question: who does the "face" John Cena go on to feud with now that he is, again, the hero WWE Champion?
