WrestleMania 36: 10 Matches We Want To See (And How To Book Them)

9. Viking Raiders vs D.I.Y (WWE Raw Tag Team Championship)

Seems a natural fit this, as despite the efforts of the superstar shakeup to bolster the Raw tag division, the match itself next year will have to carry with it some manner of 'special attraction' status and not merely be a showcase event for a successful division of the company. Ergo, I'm proposing this being Tomasso Ciampa's last match.

His reported recuperation period is "at least six months" making a return in the new year a realistic possibility. By his own admission though if (and it's still an if) he makes a full recovery, he'll be wrestling on borrowed time. If he wants to spend his post-wrestling life being able to open his own ketchup bottles any comeback to WWE should be short.

How You Book It: A lot of people (myself included) wanted to see one final blowoff match between Ciampa and Gargano to put this whole story to bed. But given the injury, the haphazard Raw call ups and the closing shot of them hugging at TakeOver, that's now not going to happen. So instead you have Gargano drop the NXT title sometime this year, arrive on the main roster and get bludgeoned by much, much, much bigger boys.

That might sound underwhelming and, well, it is, but Vince will have zero idea how to write Hanson and Rowe as power-faces and, within weeks, they'll be a-typical dozy sluggish heels. As the tag champs, they delight in picking on the new guy, before his old pal turns up to even the odds. There are 1 million better ways to book this match but, let's face it, that's how they'll do it.
