WWE: 10 Best Debut Vignettes Ever

6. Razor Ramon

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWEOxIJsxws Say hello to the bad guy! And what a great bad guy Razor Ramon was. A series of vignettes brought us into his world of Razor as we saw Scott Hall doing his best Cuban accent. Yeah, he sounded pretty ridiculous, but he based the character off of Al Pacino in Scarface, and he was a bit over-the-top as well. And just like Tony Montana, Razor played by his own rules. He stole fruit, told kids to drop out of school and never wore an undershirt. Yeah, he was cool all right. Unlike Montana, his addiction wasn't drugs, but it was professional wrestling ,and he was going to make his way to the top Chico. Unlike most debuting wrestlers, Ramon was immediately pushed as a star. The videos definitely played a big role in making him ready for a prime spot by establishing his character so well. With his gold chains, slicked back hair and distinct way of speaking, there was no one like him in all of wrestling. Within just a few moments of seeing this character's vignettes we knew what he was all about, and we wanted to see more. Survey says? That's how it's done.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
