6. Sheamus: The Brogue Kick
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9y7vKIClvI Im not really the biggest fan of strike moves being used as finishers, simply because they tend to look fake and most wrestlers cant bump from them so well. With the Brogue Kick, I get the impression you cant help but bump it like youve been kicked in the chops, because Sheamus does kick people in the chops. This shares many similarities to Sweet Chin Music as used by Shawn Michaels, with the corner build up and thrust into the centre of the ring, which is no bad thing. Its not a total rip off thankfully, but it seems Sheamus has taken some of the showman qualities of Michaels to build this move to be extremely memorable. The fact that only the Big Show has ever kicked out of it makes this even more impactful in fans' memories, and sees Sheamus use of the move being the exclamation point to any match for years to come.
