10. Steve Austin - Episode 1
Seriously, this is the best place to start. While diving into any one podcast at random won't leave you feeling disjointed or confused (as Austin does a great job of creating standalone stories), this episode gives you the perfect sample of what to expect. If you think he's going to go full-out with the catchphrases, you're only half right, as he sprinkles them in just enough to maintain that Stone Cold flavour. If you fear he's past his prime, fear not, as Steve has found the secret to evolving gracefully: by simply being himself. This episode will give you a good feel for the pacing and format of his podcasts. His language, while spicy at times (and thank goodness), is eloquent and easy to follow. His enthusiasm for doing the shows comes off as sincere and infectious, as is his enthusiasm for his other projects and interests. You'll get to know Steve in a different way. He welcomes listener email and phone calls; he produces a family-friendly show on Tuesdays, and the "unleashed" episodes come out on Thursdays. You can never say that Stone Cold rests on his laurels; he likes to keep busy and we are richer for it as his fans.
