WWE: 10 Best Tag Team Matches Ever

8. The Steiner Brothers vs. Owen Hart & Bret Hart (Wrestlefest January 1994)

This is another random tag match from 1994 where two great teams had about 20 minutes of in-ring time and put on a very entertaining match. It was just any two teams, though. We're talking about two great brother tag teams with the Steiner Brothers going up against Bret and Owen Hart, who teamed together for a short period in late 1993 and early 1994. All four guys were very good in the ring. Bret was arguably the best in the world at this point, Owen was awesome, Scott Steiner was a very athletic technical wrestler in his prime and Rick Steiner was effective as the power guy. They all knew their roles well. Both teams were faces, so the fans supported both sides. The only thing about the match that I didn't like is that they ended it in a double countout. When it was over, Scott Steiner told them to get back in the ring, so they ended up brawling some more. They likely didn't want to put either team over, which makes sense. Even without the clean finish, it's an outstanding tag team match. There was even this gem on commentary by Gorilla Monsoon during the brawl at the end: "Is that Pat Patterson? Holy mackerel did he get fat! Boy did he let himself go!" Gorilla was the best. The match was filmed for a Coliseum Home Video release called Wrestlefest. If you're looking for a better quality version of this on DVD, it's on the Hart & Soul: The Hart Family Anthology set that WWE released in 2009.
