3. Hulk Hogan At WrestleMania 18

They were a "poison" that Vince McMahon was injecting to take over WWE. At least that was the idea. Hogan did a lot of heelish things in the buildup to the match including driving a truck into an ambulance that Rock was in. It didn't seem like the fans cared that Hogan had a vehicular homicide attempt against Rock because as soon as he entered the stadium they marked out for him. That's what happens when you're one of the biggest stars ever and you're on the WrestleMania stage for the first time in nine years. The match had one of the best crowd reactions ever. It's very famous for that reason. By the end of the night, Rock and Hogan ended up on the same side as they worked together to take care of Hogan's former buddies Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Hogan got Rock to do a pose down with him as everybody watching in that arena was marking out like nothing else they've ever seen before. Nothing should have followed that. It was great. While there were reports saying that Hogan was supposed to go face there, it definitely went better than WWE could have ever expected. They rode the Hogan wave so much that a month later they put the WWE Title on him one more time.
