WWE: 10 Best Turns In WrestleMania History

2. Randy Savage At WrestleMania 7

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu5Zi2HuBww The most emotional wrestling match ever. That's what you could call the Career Match that took place at WrestleMania 7 between Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage. It was a clash between an egotistical "king" in Savage and a popular, energetic face like Warrior. Most had to assume Warrior would win because the good guy had to win a match. Plus, Savage was nearing 40 years old at this point. It was an emotionally draining battle with Savage hitting Warrior with everything he could (including five top rope elbows) only for Warrior to win the match in a decisive manner. Then the fun began as Savage's "queen" Sherri berated him for the loss. That led to Elizabeth, Savage's estranged partner, to come down to the ring to get Sherri out of there. The arena went wild because Elizabeth rarely got physical. Then Savage figured out what happened, embraced her in the ring and everybody loved it. It's a shame that the key figures in that post match angle between Savage, Elizabeth and Sherri aren't alive to tell stories about what it must have felt like to go through that storyline. Just the way it all evolved by playing on the emotions of the fans in that building. There were people seriously crying as they watched Savage reunite with Elizabeth. It's not like he was a saint to her before that moment. He was a jerk, but they cheered and they cried. A few months after this, Savage was re-instated, became a top babyface again and a year later won back the WWE Title from Ric Flair as his wife Elizabeth stood by his side. It was definitely one of the best turns ever because it made Savage an even bigger legend than he already was.
