WWE: 10 Best Turns In WrestleMania History

1. Steve Austin & Bret Hart At WrestleMania 13

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkTNLTyfHHo This is a no brainer. It wasn't just one turn. It was two within the confines of one match. Not only that, but it's one of the greatest matches ever that used the turn to make the babyface a bigger star. If you're a wrestling fan you know what happened. They had a wild brawl in a Submission Match with Ken Shamrock as the referee. Austin bled a lot - one of the most memorable bloody faces in the history of wrestling. Hart ended up winning thanks to a shot to the head using the ring bell. That led to the Sharpshooter, which caused Austin to pass out. He never quit. That was the main story. It's why people really started to love the guy. Hart was incredible as the aggressive veteran that took it to Austin and showed no remorse doing so. They really got over the idea that Bret didn't care about what the fans thought about his tactics. All he wanted to do was win. Austin showed the kind of heart you want to see out of any babyface even though he wasn't a traditional kind of babyface. When he made his comeback the crowd was totally behind him because they saw him take a tremendous beating and he kept on coming back. It was a simple story of a guy showing a lot of heart, that kept on fighting and earned the respect of everybody watching the match. The "never say die" attitude of Stone Cold is what made him the huge draw he would become. Without this match at WrestleMania 13 who knows if he would have ever reached that level. The "Austin" chant was something we would hear many times over the years, but this is the time when it mattered most because it was a harbinger of things to come. It will be hard for any wrestling company to ever top the Austin/Hart double turn from WrestleMania 13. Professional wrestling just doesn't get much better than that.
