WWE: 10 Big Benefits From The Seth Rollins Heel Turn
8. The Shield Is Legitimate Now More Than Ever
As if the Shield needed more reasons to be legitimate, this heel turn by Rollins just elevated the two-year superstars to the next level. In World Wrestling Entertainment, there are levels of stardom that exist. First off is the low-card. That is self-explanatory. Next, it's the mid-card for you Kofi Kingston. Excuse the satire, but the point remains the same. Men like he, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler (maybe), Alberto Del Rio roam and put on great matches from time-to-time. Sometimes you get out like the Miz; sometimes you don't like Kingston. Lastly, the main-event scene: the Shield began here and stayed for the long-term. WWE utilized their prize possessions wisely and slowly pushed them all to the moon. Ambrose is the next great heel. Reigns, like it was mentioned in the first slide, is the next big thing. Rollins had a few avenues to go. He could've regressed to the mid-card and rotted away. However, WWE knew he needed a boost to get to the next level. Then, the "betrayal" occurred and now, all of the Shield members are destined for greatness. They are, without a doubt, one of the greatest factions to ever exist in pro wrestling.
