WWE: 10 Biggest Royal Rumble Missed Opportunities In History

4. Build More Carnage

Royal Rumble On paper the Royal Rumble should be absolute anarchy. However, it usually ends up being far more conservative - there is never really that many men in the ring at any one time. In some respects this is missing a trick. WWE should one year deviate from the generic structure of the match ... and allow the number to build up to a full on melee. I propose that WWE book the event one year in a way that no one is eliminated for the best part of 50 minutes. Get the ring full. It would be a fantastic visual, a real talking point, fans would be buzzing on social media. Best of all it would be different. When the ring is finally bursting to the brim with 30 superstars, the eliminations would start rolling in quick succession. It would be a thrilling conclusion. It is just one creative idea for WWE to consider - too often over the years they have sacrificed imagination in favour of a tried and tested formula.
