No wrestling story can ever be complete without an incident involving the Iron Sheik. To be honest, I find Iron Sheiks rant more entertaining than most of the things that happen in the professional wrestling industry today. Steve Corino once sat down and detailed about an incident when the Iron Sheik cut an insane promo, and although it isnt technically a road story, I wanted to include that because unless you hear it from Corino himself, you probably wouldnt believe it. Iron Sheik was scheduled to wrestle the Mighty McAbee, and before the bout, the promoter wanted Sheik to get some heat, which is an inside term for making the fans boo/hate you. As Corino and Devon Storm (Crowbar) looked on, the Iron Sheik cut a promo like only he can. According to Corino, there were about 400 fans in the building, with all of them being Jews, and Sheik cut a promo calling them cheap, and how they were running Hollywood. It only got worse when Sheik talked about World War 2 and the Holocaust!
