6. Survivor Series: Team Cena Vs Team Bryan

The autumn will see Bryan overcoming a top main eventer (Batista in a one on one finally?) and Cena a top mid carder (possibly Cesaro). The added interest of gimmicks like Hell in a Cell will keep WWE going strong despite the Cena / Bryan feud being on hold. Then in November it will flare up again. The Authority in a final bid to set Bryan and Cena against each other make Team Cena vs Team Bryan for Survivor Series - with the stipulation of Cena's Money In The Bank briefcase being rendered void if his team lose. It's a way of creating an interesting dilemma and conflict without having to have the title on the line. Cena has something to defend, whereas Bryan has the chance to remove a possible title threat. Both pick strong teams, Bryan chooses The Shield and Wade Barrett. Cena chooses a mixture of heels and faces to hint at a sense of desperation and his slowly turning character - Sheamus, Cesaro, Big Show and Mark Henry. The fact that these are all giants helps to give Bryan the underdog heat he uses so effectively. The contest is a night which reinforces Cena's threat to Bryan. They end up the last two men in the match, with Cena pinning Bryan to retain his title shot. He then considers cashing in but instead ends the show with a look of mischief.
