WWE: 10 Booking Steps To John Cena Turning Heel On Daniel Bryan
5. Bryan And Cena Vs The Authority
The next night on Raw Cena comes to the ring to say he had the chance to cash in on Bryan last night, but decided to do the honourable thing. He then calls out Bryan and declares his respect for the champion. Just as both men shake hands, Triple H's music hits. "As the leader of the Authority I've came to realise something," The Game states, "Not only do I not want Daniel Bryan as WWE Champion, I don't want John Cena as WWE Champion either." Hunter then makes a match for TLC, Orton and Batista vs Cena and Bryan, with the stipulation that the title and MITB briefcase will be on the line. The good guys look shocked when all of a sudden Mr McMahon makes his long awaited return, announcing a further stipulation, should Orton and Batista lose, The Authority will be relieved of their jobs. That's an exciting proposition to sell a match because there's so much on the line. Bryan's title, Cena's contract and Hunter's job would all be at stake. At the end of TLC we would see Bryan and Cena as victors, ending the 18 month long Authority storyline. Then the show closes with the reminder that Cena is Bryan's enemy - the Cenation leader lifting his briefcase and pointing to the title.
