Stone Cold was your favorite wrestler, your dad's favorite wrestler and your brother's favorite wrestler. His charisma introduced a whole new type of fan to the wrestling business. The ultimate anti hero, Stone Cold shrugged down the ring, beat the s**t out of his boss and then drank some beers. Who wouldn't love that? When that glass broke, you popped. You didn't change the channel, you didn't do your homework, you didn't eat your dinner, you just watched. Stone Cold's attitude, presence and stature were all undeniable. He had you hooked the moment he picked up the microphone. His merchandise sales showed it as he became the most popular wrestler of all time. There'll never be another Stone Cold Steve Austin. I just hope you were lucky enough to see him live. Damn was he special.
