WWE: 10 Most Disappointing Things About WrestleMania 30

4. The Unwanted Main Event

Never before has a Wrestlemania Main Event been so badly received by the WWE fans. Recent momentum has always been behind Daniel Bryan to stand victorious as WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania. The sudden return and immediate placing of Batista into that same Main Event at the expense of Bryan has been met with a chorus of boos from live WWE audiences and outrage from a large section of the wider WWE Universe. This main event has had a severe lack of story line to promote it as a Main Event worth paying to watch. Fortunately the WWE has tried to rehash together a Main Event where Bryan or Triple H could feature in a now Triple Threat Match, but the whole affair seems clumsily handled and again reflects a reactionary rather than planned creative direction. For Wrestlemania 30 we should be treated with a Main Event to rival The Rock vs. Cena but instead we are left with a disappointingly half baked mess that I fear the WWE knows will be a disappointing end to a disappointing night.
