2. Simon Dean

ECW was a company filled with talented wrestlers and Nova was up there with the best of them; he took high risks, could sell, was over with the crowd and had an extensive move set. At one point he hit a stunner, DDT and a leg drop on three different wrestlers in one movement; imagine that as a WrestleMania moment! Though the closest Nova got to performing at the grandest stage of them all was on a non-televised preshow battle royal at WrestleMania twenty two; not to mention he was the first eliminated within two seconds of the bout; ouch! However, he was of course appearing as Simon Dean rather than the infamous Super Nova. Simon Dean was a fitness expert, who would deliver tedious mock-infomercials promoting €˜the Simon System€™ which was selling dietary supplements and exercise programs. As a heel wrestler he would often insult the size of the hometown crowd to generate heat; he wasn€™t an enjoyable heel to watch though and instead just incredibly irritating, leading to him soon being demoted to jobbing and house shows.
