WWE: 10 Greatest Superstars Of The 2000s So Far

3. The Rock

the rock Many may disagree with this choice being so high on this list, or even on this list at all. But since 2000, The Rock has been the single biggest star in professional wrestling whenever he has made an appearance. He is the only man who has transcended the business in the past decade, becoming not only a legendary figure in WWE but was able to make it big in Hollywood. Personally, I don't resent Dwayne Johnson for moving on from WWE in 2002 - even in the relatively short time he was there, he accomplished everything he could. He may have been a lot lower down this list if he didn't return in 2011. Watching him now, it's quite obvious to anyone that the difference between his ability and the majority of wrestlers in WWE is astronomical. He may not be technically proficient in the ring and is not having the best matches of his career at the moment, but he certainly did during 2000 and 2001. His feuds with Triple H, Hulk Hogan and, of course, Steve Austin, were true classics.
