Ah, the million dollar question - where is AJ Styles headed for next? When he left TNA in December of 2013, many people weren't sure if it was true or not. The initial plan had been for him to return during the tour of the UK in January of 2014, but as that came and went everyone realised that he was in fact finished with the company. This is turn led to the assumption that he was WWE bound, as he was a tremendous wrestler who had developed into a decent promo guy. And then the booking began piling up for the independent scene and it became obvious that he wasn't imminently bound for WWE. The rumour mill then began with talk that might join Jeff Jarrett's new group (assuming it finally get off the ground). But only one person really knows..... Or does he? AJ Styles is in a strange limbo-land. He is approaching his 37th birthday, so the next wrestling contract he signs will undoubtedly be his last big-money one. But he won't get that big contract in TNA, an if WWE sign wrestlers of his age it is generally ex-employees coming in for one last nostalgia run (despite the fact that he is better than most of their current roster). What does the future hold? It will be interesting to find out!
