WWE: 10 Most Irrelevant Big Name Wrestlers Right Now

1. Alberto Del Rio

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9ZjvZZkxFk WrestleMania XXIX match: Defended World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger, third highest match on the card Past year PPV highlights: Won WHC at Payback; Defended WHC at next four PPVs; Lost to Batista at Elimination Chamber No one has fallen as far and become more irrelevant than Alberto Del Rio. He walked into WrestleMania XXIX as the World Heavyweight Champion and walked out still holding his title... for another 24 hours. Dolph Ziggler would cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase the next night and wrest the belt from him. Two months later, ADR recaptured his title, only to lose it four months later to John Cena at Hell in a Cell in October. Since then, Del Rio has been in a spiral. He fell so far that he lost consecutive matches to Sin Cara €“ probably an effort to build him up with a new man under the mask. He began calling out an incoming Batista and suddenly captured a couple quick wins, but the outcome of his match against Batista was a fait accompli. Lately, he doesn't even get an entrance during Raw. Now, he's one of 30 wrestlers competing in the battle royal, and hardly anyone has noticed. It's been a long, hard fall for Mexico's Greatest Export. And with word that his contract will soon expire, it doesn't seem like Del Rio will be vaulted back up the card any time soon.
