http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZWVY-4ZNtQ Former NFL linebacker and TNA wrestler Monty Brown was deemed a can't miss superstar when he jumped to WWE in late 2006. Brown spent four years in TNA as one of their bright spots and appeared to be a no-brainer for them to start building the company around him. He had all the tools, including an undeniable Goldberg-esque explosive charisma. Yet inexplicably TNA decided to kill his momentum by having him job to Jeff Jarrett and then almost immediately becoming one of his flunkies. He left TNA when his contract expired and signed with WWE right away. The "Alpha Male" was part of ECW's New Breed, feuding with the ECW Originals, culminating in an 8-man tag match at WrestleMania 23. Once that feud had ended, he took some time off to deal with unspecified personal issues and never returned to the ring for WWE before his contract expired. He currently works as a personal trainer and is a perfect example of two companies failing to capitalize on someone who should have been a much bigger star.
