WWE: 10 Jobs You Won't Believe That Wrestlers Once Did

9. Stone Cold Steve Austin Worked In A Loading Dock

This occupation isn't really the shocking thing, it's more the fact the guy who did it went on to become arguably the most successful professional wrestling in the history of the business. Everyone's favourite anti-hero Stone Cold Steve Austin once worked at a loading dock in his native Texas, and he was still doing that job during the early part of his career, and would regularly have to juggle his responsibilities there with his bookings on the road. It's not surprising that Steve did such a manly, laborious job, but his escape from that and subsequent journey to the pinnacle of wrestling is an example to all wrestling fans. If you do a lot of heavy lifting for a living, trade in the manual labour for some military presses and scoop slams. You might just strike it gold and become the man, which would surely beat the low pay and zero opportunities, although that second part is probably even worse in the WWE. Steve still gets down to his fair share of hard work to this day at his Broken Skull Ranch in Texas. Check out his podcast the Steve Austin Show to hear more about his early and pre-wrestling days.
