WWE: 10 Lasting Legacies Of The Undertaker (Other Than The Streak)

2. All Those Amazing Matches With Shawn Michaels

The best professional wrestling match ever is The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25. A bold statement? Sure. It's also something that a lot of wrestling fans agree with because of how special of a match it was. Their match at WrestleMania 25 wasn't about good vs. evil. Both guys were babyface legends by the time the match took place. All we cared about was seeing an all-time great match, which is what we got. Michaels tried everything he could to put Undertaker away and he couldn't do it. Remember that spot where Undertaker jumped over the top rope to get at Michaels and Undertaker ended up landing right on his head? We thought he was seriously hurt. Instead, he continued on as they had the best match ever. The WrestleMania 25 match ended when Undertaker caught Michaels after a moonsault attempt and planted him with a Tombstone right in the center of the ring. There was no way he was kicking out of that one. It was wrestling perfection on the grandest stage of them all. That wasn't their only good match, though. Two other special matches took place at Badd Blood 1997, which was the first Hell in a Cell match ever. There was also the WrestleMania rematch in 2010 at WrestleMania 26 when Michaels had his last match ever. Add in other battles like Ground Zero 1997, Royal Rumble 1998 and their epic final showdown in the 2007 Royal Rumble match as well and you've got an amazing history between two of the greatest WWE stars of all-time. A few years ago, WWE released a Greatest Rivalries DVD about Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart. It would be awesome to see them do the same for Undertaker vs. Michaels because pro wrestling doesn't get much better than this.
