WWE: 10 Lasting Legacies Of The Undertaker (Other Than The Streak)

8. A Memorable History With His "Brother" Kane

Whenever somebody thinks of Undertaker the first wrestler they're likely going to think about next is Kane. The two men known as the "Brothers of Destruction" aren't really brothers and were usually rivals on screen, but they will always be closely associated with one another. Kane's debut in 1997 as the bastard son of Paul Bearer was very memorable as he caused Undertaker to lose the first ever Hell in a Cell match against Shawn Michaels. Undertaker didn't want to fight his brother, but after Kane kept attacking him and even tried to kill him by setting a casket on fire, Undertaker was left with no choice. That led to Undertaker defeating him at WrestleMania 14. Six years after that, following Kane's attempt to bury his brother alive, Undertaker defeated him at WrestleMania 20. There were some great moments for them as a team too. The Brothers of Destruction had 3 separate tag title reigns together and whenever they teamed up it was always a big deal because any time you can have two near 7 footers working together against the forces of evil the fans are always going to react positively to that. When each man is inducted in WWE's Hall of Fame, the other will play a large role that day. For a couple of guys that are fake brothers, they sure had a lot in common in terms of their wrestling careers. Undertaker is the bigger star, but their careers will always be linked together.
